Circular Mixed Media Paper

A medium sized round sheet for artists who want to work outside the box!

40cm / 16″ diameter ~ Tub-sized

Made from our standard cotton and linen mix at 200lb (410 gsm), they are suitable for a wide range of media, including watercolour, acrylics, oils, pastels, and printmaking methods. The inclusion of linen creates a tough surface that can be reworked without breaking down. Tub-sizing allows paint and pigments to dry to a sharp, bright finish.

With a natural deckle edge that gives each sheet its own unique character.

Questions about our Paper?

Handmade in small batches at our mill in Watchet, Somerset. Each sheet is made from a blend of cotton and linen, prepared in our Hollander beaters and formed by hand using traditional wooden moulds and deckles.

Gelatine tub-sizing finishes the surface, keeping paint workable, allowing easy lifting and reworking, and ensuring pigment dries to a sharp, vivid finish.

The complete process takes three to four working days from raw fibre to finished paper. Suitable for watercolour, acrylics, oils, pastels, printmaking, and photographic processes.
