16 X 20″ (41 x 51cm) ~ Cotton and Linen ~Tub Sized ~ Four Natural Deckle Edges

Available in the following weights:

5 Sheets – 140lb (310gsm)
5 Sheets – 200lb (410gsm)
5 Sheets – 300lb (630gsm)

This paper is tough enough to handle watercolour, acrylics, pastels, oils, mixed media and printmaking processes. It can take reworking without breaking down, and allows paint and pigments to dry to a sharp, bright finish.

The texture of the paper increases with sheet weight: Our 140lb (310 gsm) paper has a smoother surface than the 300lb (630 gsm) paper.

All orders are sent flat, wrapped in brown kraft paper and protective recycled board.

16×20″ is a format that gives you room to work, large enough for ambitious compositions, but still manageable to handle without a dedicated studio setup. It suits painters who find quarter imperial slightly restricting but aren’t ready to commit to full imperial sheets.

Both sides of the sheet can be painted on with equal confidence. The four natural deckle edges mean the finished work looks considered, whether you choose to frame it with a mount or float it in a deep frame with the deckle edges showing.

I want to congratulate for your work, the paper is delicious to paint on, it waits the right time to dry, responds to the brushwork with exactitude, takes the pigment, bright and improve with elegance the pigments character, transparency, heaviness, granularity, etc… enhancing the control of the painting, your work is really exceptional.
