Mixed Weight 12 sheet Pack of Quarter Imperials

A great choice for anyone new to our paper who wants to try all the weights in our standard range.

Each box contains four sheets of 140lb, 200lb, and 300lb TR Original Cotton and Linen Rag Handmade Paper.

Quarter Imperial 15 x 11″ with four natural deckle edges.

Weights in gsm: 310gsm / 410gsm / 630gsm.

This paper is tough enough to handle watercolour, acrylics, pastels, oils, mixed media and printmaking processes. It can take reworking without breaking down, and allows paint and pigments to dry to a sharp, bright finish.

The texture of the paper increases with sheet weight: Our 140lb (310 gsm) paper has a smoother surface than the 300lb (630 gsm) paper.

Questions about our Paper?

Our paper is made in small batches in Watchet, Somerset. Cotton and linen fibres are broken down in our Hollander beaters, then formed into sheets using traditional moulds and deckles.

Gelatine tub-sizing gives the finished surface its character: paint stays workable, pigment dries bright and sharp, and the surface holds up to lifting and reworking without breaking down. From raw fibre to finished sheet takes three to four working days.

Suitable for watercolour, acrylics, oils, pastels, printmaking, and photographic processes.

I purchased this pack of 12 mixed weight sheets. Love the way I can scrub and still it holds up. The texture makes my work look amazing. Wonderful papers. I only wish it was available in the US.
