Our paper begins as raw cotton and linen fibre, reduced to individual strands in our Hollander beaters before being formed into sheets by hand.

Air-drying and gelatine tub-sizing give the finished sheet its strength and its characteristic surface, which holds paint and pigment on top rather than drawing them in. This means colours stay vivid, edges stay sharp, and the surface can be reworked without breaking down.

Suitable for watercolour, acrylics, oils, pastels, printmaking, and photographic processes.
