We have made a small batch of these half imperial sheets as a limited offer.

This paper is made from cotton and linen rag and other fibres to recreate the warm tones and surfaces familiar to artists in the late 18^th Century.

These papers are flecked with fragments of unbleached jute and coloured linen rags. It has a slightly smoother texture than our standard TR paper.

Two Rivers paper is used by artists worldwide who value a surface that performs under pressure. Handmade from a blend of cotton and linen broken down in our Hollander beaters, each sheet is formed individually, giving it the feathery deckle edges and strength that define European handmade paper. Gelatine tub-sizing keeps paint on the surface rather than letting it sink in, so pigment dries bright and sharp, and can be lifted or reworked with ease. From raw fibre to the finished sheet takes three to four working days.
